Summary of Contents
Guidance on reducing the bureaucratic burden on teachers, covering a wide
range of issues, from meetings and preparing documents to OFSTED inspections
and Special Educational Needs.
The Secretary of State looks to headteachers, in consultation with their
staff, to take action to implement the guidelines contained in this circular,
to enable teachers to concentrate their efforts on improving the achievement of
their pupils.
